Evo gearbox conversion

There was some talk ages ago on the other forums about using the evo 5 speed gearbox as a replacement for the standard box. Does anyone know if this ever happened? or if its feasible?

Anything is feasible, its just time and money. Evo boxes will go in but you're looking at custom bell housing, clutch, prop, drive shafts, Evo RS diffs, modification to the sub frame or as per Stu's car a custom tubular job.

You will need some serious work done to the car to make it all fit.
