EVC 5 scramble boost switch

Is anyone using a external sbc switch with their EVC 5?

Or even better: has anyone gone through the trouble of finding out what pins has to be shorted in the display wire to activate Scramble boost??

Need to know since I've put a switch in the gear knob and need to know how to weld it in the wire

I believe that a chap on here called warringtonjack is using the scramble boost setting - best bet is to give him a pm
