engine vibes

i can feel the engine vibrations throught my R at idle, is this normal :shock:

It is if you have solid engine mounts

Check your engine mounts, if you have solid ones itll vibrate like hell :shock:

Well it reduces the rocking of the engine forward and backward so in that regard its good.

The vibration is normal with uprated mounts - but its also a part of the drawback.

Just another sacrifice really.

what exhaust have you got? my mates got a mongoose and at idle that does make the inside of the car vibrate quite a bit.

ive just got a standard exhaust for now.cheers guys, im just on a bit of a noya about my r as i have just got it. I am just hopeing every thing is ok with it :?

You sure the exhaust isnt resinating against the heat shield? makes a starnge vibration noise when it is!

Even in a 100% standard car (as mine was until recently) you'll get engine vibrations at idle. Not the most refined car ever built... but hey it's fast.
