engine to transfer box bracket

There is a little bracket on the end of the transfer box which connects to the engine just under the oil cooler does this need to go on? the little one of the two.

Only reason i ask is that on my new engine who ever put this bracket on last time destroyed the thread on the inside and i cant get the tool for 2 weeks to rethread it.

never mind found a kit to rethread the hole and bolt all sweet now.

yeh needs to go on, i had trouble with mine, losing thread's but sorted it.. 14mm hold it all on
