Engine Oil - Running In Engine

Any recommendations for an appropriate oil to run in my freshly rebuilt engine??

mineral oil get a half decent brand and ull be fine
think i used 10-40 vauxhall stuff

Yeah im pretty sure my machiner has put 10W40 in my engine as well to run it in...
