Engine back in the right place

Thanks to great help from Andy and George (Fubar and Pobody) the engine and gearbox is now back in the engine bay. Just got 101 parts to re-fit but pleased the project has some momentum again.

No. The car went off the road 8 years ago. Family, work and house projects all came first. About 2 years ago I sorted the engine but been busy since. Now the engine and box is in, I can plod through the rest

I did have a conversation with Mrs campbellju about how it would be easier to sell once it was running again... it's the same conversation I've had my my own wife.

And as we were saying 15 years ago it looked like an old chavved up ugly golf. Now I think it looks retro cool. Plan is get back on the road, enjoy it and see what lives serves up.

Well done mate thats the spirit..... mine been back on road couple years,just having an item fitted to it .then hopefully save enough dough next year to take it to a few track days
