My tank was emptied and 2 gallons added.. should this be enough to start ? Plugs have petrol on them but wont start. hmm
I would have thought it should be enough. Try disconnecting the fuel filter hose and shove it in something (milk bottle etc) so you can see if any fuel comes out. It'll not come out if the pump's dead and you should hear that priming the system when you turn the key.

Just checking. I would of thought it was enough. Fuel pump is working and plugs stink of fuel so I guess this is not the reason for it not starting. It was totally empty the tank and showed as such on guage (pumped all fuel out) then put in 2 gallons and it shows about 1/4 on guage which would be something like it should be if it holds 11 gallons.
