Emanage mapping

Because the car was lay up for a long time the battery was either taken out to charge or was jump started and the guy who built the engine thinks this might have upset the map. The car seems to be running very rich, strong smell of petrol and backfiring.
Had a look at the emanage. The active light is staying solid green when engine is running, the interaction light is flashing orange, dont know if this means anything but thought I would add it anyway.
Anyone any ideas?

Green is fine, orange means its doing something and is normal. red would indicate a fault. The map should be fine, it will not clear with a power loss.

install the software on a laptop with a standard A-B usb cable you'll be able to read the unit and see if everything is fine,

but like ed said, power loss doesn't erase the emanage memory.

You cannot connect to the e-manage blue with a USB A-B cable. It needs an adaptor cable (RS232 with TTL logic conversion)
