Eletric Mirrors

Has any one ever had a problem with the folding of the electric mirrors?
This morning as I open mine out the drivers side judderd opened but refused to fold back in, it did fold in later when I got to work, then would not open again.
Any Ideas? I believe the motors are in the mirror but as its an intermitant fault not sure were to start looking.

Is it just a loose wire?? Have you stripped it down??

It is possible that the motor is on its way out

See if anyone on here has any for sale, i think you can take the back off them so the colour wont really matter.

i had the same prob, intermittent & a pain in the butt sometimes
i squirted some spray grease behind the mirror then some wd & then some more grease whilst runnin back & forth to click the switch to open & close em & that cured it for me.
