im looking to fit bigger injectors and eventually want to be running of 400bhp. do i need a stand alone ecu or a piggy back jobby????

tbh mate i think it depends on who you want to do the mapping...both ecu' s will do a great job but there' s no point asking someone to map an emanage that has no idea how to do it;-)

i maxed out something on my emanage going for 2bar with a 3071r...it works just fine at 1.85ish which is well over 400bhp:-D

im not far from abbey motorsports so would probably get those guys to do the mapping. Well i think im going for the emanage but which one normal or ultimate?

your only a few miles from Ashills and Micraed then. i know who id go to but at the end of the day its up to you mate. im not knocking Abbey either btw;-)

they wont mislead you (not suggesting that abbey would either) i trust them both to work on my car and between them they have more experience with the gtir and emanage than most.

end of the day mate its up to you.
