I've been reading up on the Ecotek CB-26P and it sounds like a good product, but I can't find any info on one being fitted to a GTiR. Has anyone fitted one to their 'R' and if so, how does it perform?

I wouldn't bother mate. I've used them and they don't do much on turbo'd cars because they rely on vacumm from the intake manifold to suck in and agitate the air, hence they only work with great success on N/A applications. Turbo cars (particularly 4wd) spend most of their time off vacumme and the Ecotec valve is designed to close during this period.

They also make the car run LEAN  and that's the LAST thing you want eh

Ask any tuner and just watch his reaction  some will even give you a row for it
