Eagle Rods

Alright folks was talking to my mate today about possible parts for a re-build in the near future.

He suggested Eagle Titanium Rods, anyone got any info on them at all if they are any good.

I know Dave Bulls Micra is running them but want a bit more info.

Hey bud, recon the standard rods are pretty good unless you are going for serious power.

How much are they? I know Arrow make Titanium rods, but they're about £2000 a set :shock:

I was told they where only £300 but will find out if that is each.

Think you'll find thats Billet Steel... Titanium way more expensive...

:roll: the only reason you would need titanium rods (eagle doesnt have a titanium application for the sr20det that i know of anyway) is to reduce the reciprocating mass to enable a substancial increase in the rev limit.

on ebay je pistons and eagle rods for the sr20det go for like US$800.....grab those and a set of silvia or fwd sr20det bushings (avenir, bluebird etc.).
