Wots the diffenrents between a blow off valve and a dump valve ?? cause they go in the same place on the engine dont they ??
you do get two different types tho, recirculating and atmospheric.
Recirculating dumpvalves take the vented air and feed it back into the induction tubing, after the air flow meter. so the ammount of the air in the system is constant and so the car can calculate how much fuel to use.
Atmospheric dumpvalves vent to the outside air, when they do, the fuel mixture richens, as there is less air to the same ammount of fuel.. this means you get pops flames and other minor ovefuelling characheristics when lifting off sharply or changing gear from high revs.
