down shift problems!

Hey guys, I am having a problem with down shifts or gear selections i.e 1st when the car is static. i.e It is very hard to get the car into gear (1st)(R) Also find down shifts tricky at speed. I was thinking it is the slave. Is this a common problem??

yes mate slave cylinders do perish the seals, as well as the hose and the clutch master cylinder!

so could be any one of these, firts thing to do is have a good look about for any leaks, then try and bleed the slave system

What symptoms would a clutch master cause??

lack of clutch fork travel, wet area around the bulkhead. pedal going to and(staying on the floor).

How much is a new master? This is happining to me...

Ok, so my guess at the Slave should be correct as I have none of those issues.
