Doors

My doors have dropped slightly and alot of wind noise comes through them = is there another way to sort this out apart from buying new hinges???

Yopu can try "bending" them...I used to work in a body shop and we used to call it "fine adjustment" Also adjust the catch to bring the door back up, works some times.

or use a car jack and a bit of wood under the door and bounce on the wing for 'subtle' adjustments

jesus!!! guys this sounds a bit harsh!!!!!!

i dont want to snap them off the hinges!!

has anyone tried this on their car? i need to know as i can be heavy handed sometimes!!

I've done the old trolley jack adjustment on a reno5, worked a treat, suprising how much force is needed though :x

I subtley adjusted a caddy door to stop wind noise unfortunately nearly snapped the top half off bent back ok though

I'm off to nissan to buy a set of hinges!
