Do you have to remap after FMIC fitted?

Finally looking to have a Front Mount IC, if you have already had your car mapped (unichip) using the top mount, do you need to have it remaped again after fitting the front mount?

Yeah, cos now u have a colder air charge so u can run more boost or advance the timing alittle so i would.

It won't kill your engine if you don't but you may get a small gain if you do.If it's worth it depends on how much they'll charge for the slight remap.

Ideally you should get your car remapped after any mod as the air/fuel demands of the engine will have changed in atleast some places. But noone realy does it unless the do major mods.

Yeah he doesn't give it total death if it isn't needed, I will defo be going back
when I have the new 3" turbo elbow/downpipe fitted so we can check the before and after power figures and hopefully up the boost to 1.4 :)
