Detailing my R

My mate started detailing my R last night i can't believe how good the paint is coming up hes doing a photo diary of it as soon as its done i'll put some up to show you i'm well exited roll on show season:thumbsup:

Yes he's doing the job lot detail and correction he's currently holding down a full time job and trying to get his detailing business off the groung so he's doing mine bit by bit in the evenings and stuff but as there is no time limit on it he's also going to do the windows hw's just waiting for a new polisher too come i'll ask him what products he's using he gave part of the bonnet a quick wax with dodo juice purple haze pro and its mint he poured water on it to demonstrate how god it was and it just runs off like it was never there he's put it on a forum he goes on as project beast from the east touch wood my car is going to be his demo car so were expecting big things

Touch wood she should be finished tomorrow evening i will then post pics and get some opinions i only saw the bonnet and it looked sweet i cant wait for the summer the paint has a copper pearl in it when the sun hits it it's going to look well nice

he did about 2-4 hours using different products on the bonnet and stuff to see what reacted best with the paint then he did a full day and half a day on the wash and wax roughly

That has come up really nicely, makes me ashamed about the state of mine... but as long as I have it neatened up by the 20th Anniversary meet I'll be happy.

The pics don't do it justice the paint looks like you could swim in it when i went to look at it last night i could smell the dodo juice wax from about 15ft away with the garage door still closed he's going to give it another clean and wax and anything else just before the show season starts again all i need now is my new wheels and the outside is sorted just dont know weather to go back to an original grill

Car looks fantastic mate - your friend's done a good job.

If you decide to go back to an original grille I'll swap with you - I have a black one with a Prince badge but want to try one like yours!

I already have the original that came with the car so i might sell it to put a bit into my new wheel fund as i think the matt black doesn't do it justice

On those pics; what wheels do you have on the car mate? They look very good and remind me of ones my bro had on his skyline.
