Degreeing camshafts

evening all

i got to degree my camshafts to 106 ATDC (intake) and 110BTDC exhaust,

a camshaft runs 1/2 the speed of the engine, eg 20 degrees on the crank equal 10 on the cam, all reference marks/degress are from the crank.

now the problem is when i am at 106 degress on the crankshaft(intake) i am approximately (180 outcamshaft) 360 , now the motor is timed acording to nissan.

these are gtir cams i have already checked today.

i haven't checked exhaust as this puzzling me.

nevermind i have worked it out, the intake valve only opens on the 3rd stroke..... der i is dumb....

tomorrow is another day to work all this stuff out....
