Dashboard nightmares

Hi ppl I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

My rev counter wasn't working but when I got the car it already had an aftermarket rev counter fitted but as I wanted the origional one to work I bought another dash, but now after fitting it my speedo and rev counter arent working so I put the original dashback in but the speedo still aint working. After some fiddleing about I managed to forget what wires go where so if anyone could tell me what colour of wire is for what.

Yellow
Blue
Green
Red
Black
Yellow/Green

(please remember these are on the middle connector on the back of the dash)

Also if anyone knows what the brownand white wire's are for on the Speedo convertor/de-limiter are for that would also be a great help.

did you get the same type of clock cluster mate? think theres a few differences

Are you on about the wires for the plug on the dash or the speedo converter? like Rich sais you might find differences between dash clusters especially if its between uk/jdm, I was thinking you were asking about the speedo box before. You might need a wiring diagram or another car to compare the wires to if they have come out of the plug, happy to help if you need it mate, just let me know .
