well i think ive found my rattling noise ive just done a compression test and cylinder next to dizzy is way down on pressure the rest are on about 160 psi so i m pretty sure the piston rings on that cylinder are f**ked :twisted: , i think its forged time :roll: just cant really afford at the moment

Didn't you have a rebuild recently(last year?) or was that some other work?

i had a gearbox rebuild but nothing done to the engine i was expecting something to fail soon just my luck

running 1 bar (was) oil leak was dipstick tube had come out of the block (least of my worries now) im gonna take the opportunity to fit forged pistons if i can find some any ideas?
