cv boot's

Hey guys

My front cv boots mainly outer boot are starting to crack no splits yet. No knocking etc. Is it worth leaving them, for now . Change when they split?

How easy are the outer cv boot's to change, can I change them with out taking the shafts out?
Would I need to undo the track rod end or suspension bolts?

Pretty easy. Yes you'll need to undo the suspension bolts, track rod end would make it easier I think, but I think I've done it before without.
