Nice work Wayne, I hadn't realised it replaced your whole front pipe too.

I'll pop round Edenesday and have a proper look.

It's the same bloke who built my 3" exhaust system 4 years ago.

Looks very nice.

couple of quick questions:

is your car fitted with air con?
would they be able to knock out a few more of these and maybe do a group buy?!?

Ive removed my aircon which has freed up a load of space.

He has got 4 flanges as he had to by at least 5

Said he is happy to make more but would need a car to build them on.

Give then a ring if your interested very helpful and he knows his stuff

I did pop round at around 7.30pm but you'd already gone. Was that good news?

Is it all working?

I came back and ffitted my ignition amplifier instead.

I'll try to catch you at the weekend.

No, the bloke who made it supplied it all.

quick question for everyone thats had a 3" downpipe fitted, when coupling upto the goose, do you use a 3" flange or a 2.5" flange?? also has anyone ever attempted a screamer pipe when making up these downpipes?

I've just bolted my 3" janspeed straight to my 2.5" goose which isn't ideal I know  , But it works ok and will do until I can get the rest of the 3" system to match.

why is that rob?  by the time he gases have reached the goose section the gases would of cooled down so the smaller diameter goose section will help the gases escape quicker:thumbsup:

just a pity theres a 1/4" step in diametre that will kill flow...if it tapers then what you say is correct, if you bolt 3 inch to 2.5 inch with no taper it is pants for flow
