Creaking noise..

Hi guys and gal...

i have noticed while driving along a creaking noise in my drivers door recently...sounds like a metallic creak. It doesn't seem to matter when it does it, but it does do it a lot.

What might this be?

I have noticed that my drivers door does not necessarily close properly as if the seals are out of line with the door...could this be to do with the prob?

Any help would be much appreciated as its getting right on my t*ts!!

When you sit in the car and the door is open there is a small bit of metal coming from the car to the door. It has a inch long pin going through it check that there is no movement in that as mine moves and it annoys the hell out of me :evil: Try that anyway

I think it's one of the hinges. I've had this problem and aparently all I have to do is get new hinge and install it. Aparently GTiR doors are heavy as an Aussie on Australia Day.
