1st- charcoal canister is standard. Just spray it with black spray paint.
2nd- the pipes are the standard solenoid thingy which looks like someone has done a 1bar loop on it. Not sure where they go.
3rd- i dont know about

1st - Oil seperator! - exhaust paint?
2nd - plugged standard solonoid, as riske says the 1 bar loop
3rd - i`d remove the fuel pump relay for the test. not sure if it`d bugger up the coil not having it connected

also on the oil seperator thing it's Been dented on the corner to make the fmic pipe fit , will this be causing any probs with pressure etc like if u had a dented sump would ,

Plus were is the fuel pump relay as on my compression test thread everyone has said to disable the coil but I don't no were hence the pic but no one mentioned the fuel relay at all ,and I don't want to kill myself or the car

just unplug the coil where you have circled it it will be fine the fuel pump relay is under the cover on the drivers side relay box in the engine bay i think it says fuel pump on it lol

disconnect the distribitor mutiplug you will not get a spark or injector pulse that way.
or in all truth just disconecting the lead out the coil will be fine.

no the dent will not give you problems.

mines dented with no probs. Think quite a few people have ditched it without issue.

My R had it already removed when purchased, but that could cause me problems as now I have no means of seperating water from oil. Considered re-fitting it, but without thinking, I believe I've talked myself out of it as I've got a catch-tank!!!

Or am I barking-up (woof) the wrong woofing tree?!?! :der:

separator will separate the oil from the oil rich vapours coming from the rocker. Then vent the fumes to either atmostphere or into the intake track for emissions reduction.

I don`t have a catch tank on mine, the oil is recirculated from the seperator back into the block.

Although, water vapour got into my catch tank and the mayo got that bad it looks like pornstar had unloaded for 6 months in it.

be interested in knowing the advantages of using a catch tank though and where you`d plug it in
(sorry for the tread hyjack)

A one bar loop requires the two pipes to be connected together, hence the nick name "one bar loop".

good point, the actuator should be opening at stock boost if the solonoid isn`t looped together or running a boost controller.

Greedy profec b 2 controller so probably why there not looped but blocked off

If I take the oil seperator off to tidy it up will it cause a mess if the engine been stood overnight or will the oil if all gone back down to the sump so no mess , could really do with painting it this week as it looks minging like that

The fuse box in the car near the drivers right knee is where the fuse for the fuel pump is, its the third fuse from the bottom on the right .Once the cars warmed up with the engine still runing just pull the fuse out it will then stall disconect the lead from the distributor to coil then do the compresion test .

either fuse will be fine to remove!
if you have an electronic controller you can also disconnect the stock boost solenoid from multiplug and remove it completely as its overriden by the greddy unit you have, so thats now not used
