no problem 8)

i was going to do the the same myself but decided just to use the standard caliper and a 300mm disc.

godspeed kit, 300 and something pounds, and yes it does, brackets are included, managed to trick simon (00sid) into fitting them , he reckoned they were easier than his so they must've adapted the bracket

back to the rear big brake ..

err
it is overkill to fit 4 pot at rear ?
4 pot at rear..

front going to fitted with 325 x 30 4 pot
thinking to fit 300 x 24 disc with 4 pot rear

over kill ?

caliper is brembo monoblock from 996

imo, if you go too big on the rear you stand the chance of overbreaking yourself and may need to invest in an 'adjustable' in car break biasis (sp).

You don't need 4 pots on the rear, just get a big break disc conversion on the rear.

it shouldn't be a problem as the bias is still towards the front so that wouldn't change as you've increased the braking strength on the front anyways.

under really heavy braking the black car has felt like it was going to swap ends a few times which i can only put down to the rears no longer being adequate :?

i did consider doing adjustable bias with the whole 4 pot set up but like i say couldn't be @rsed with the idea and just went bigger rear disc with rebuilt calipers, far less hassle imho

hehe
thank
problem here is fabrication work is cheap for me since i based at malaysia
and part is reasonable priced
so i thinking to get is 4 pot rear

the car not going to race car
it more like show off and street driving only
i hardly drive above 130 kmh

the front will consist 996 4 pot caliper with R33 GTR Disc 325 x 30
rear will be 296 x 24 from Mitsu Evo 4 Rotor
i have thinking on brake bias as well
but i think sort out the parking brake first
then decide whether there is need to run brake bias or not later

ps.. i got my used 996 monoblock 4 pot caliper F and R for USD 550 only
with still about 80% 996 OEM brake pad, new retainer and clip
