Cometic head gasket sr20det - will it fit ?

just ordered this head gasket

now somebody told me it will not fit our R.

is that correct ?

No it wont. Its for a 240sx SR20DET..

I'm sure the oil holes don't line up or something like that...

One of the others - Odin, Diesel Weasel, GINGA - will be able to give you a definate answer

i have recently fitted a commetic head gasket to mine and the oil way's are different to the one in the piccy.

I don't think the 240sx one fits a pulsar engine.

I bought the wrong one myself and had to sell it on to a 200 sx owner I seem to remember.

sorry mate i had it wrong i should of looked at the pic ,no that 1 wont fit but u can buy them on ebay which do fit

cometic makes one for the sr20. get the standard metal one it will fit, you must tell them its for FWD sr20 sentra se-r or nx2000. I have used before on det motors including gti-r.
It was 115 US $

tis true, the head bolt holes are narrower and oil and water ways are out of alignment, not a lot but enough to cause you a problem!
