im having missfire probs and was thinking of re- earthing the coil. The 2 pin plug that connects to the coil i just tested and with the ignition on should i be seeing 12v? at the plug?
ive tested the positive side of the plug with an earth off the chassis and im getting 11.9v but at the plug using the plug earth wire im only getting 0.1?? is this earth switched by the ecu or somthing?
or even better would be if somoeone who has no missfire probs could unplug there coil and put a volt tester on the plug and tell me would reading they get with the ignition on?
