whats the minimum clearance i can get away with between brake calipers and rims? i've got hispec billet 4's and some 16" TSW's and the caliper touches the laquer on the inside of the rim! i've not driven it like that yet but i guess that there will need to be some leeway for flex etc.
is it possible to get a bit machined off the inside of the rims?

I've heard of people having abit shaved off their calipers, but it's not an ideal situation to be having anything machined :( Would say 2mm wheel spacers cure your problems? You can get longer wheen studs if need be.

My ultralites run with no spacers and are about 2.5mm in the closest area on my wilwoods, just enough to allow for the bendy wilwoods to flex!
