I posted about this a few months ago, but the thread is now in the member’s general section.

Has anyone heard from Checker Flag in the last few months?

On my recommendation my friend ordered 2k’s worth of stuff back in April for his RX7, we’ve not had one email reply since then! Found someone Japanese to ring, they said they were waiting for the stock to come in!

Although ive never had a problem with them before I think 7 months with no contact is beyond dubious! Appears their website has now gone down too!

I know Memski ordered some parts around the same time and is also yet to receive them.

Remember someone posting on the previous thread about there being a possible way to get the money back via the bank… So I think that is our next port of call.

Well over a year and two months on and no parts, tried emailing them, ringing them, the bank, their website is still down, so looks like thats 2k down the pan!!!

Take it no ones had any dealing with them recently?

They do still have a site but its under a different name...

Sure it begins with an 'M' but really can't remember...

they are not too far from where i am , strange they have changed their name though

they seem to be located near tokyo teleport station way, near super auto bacs

Why dont you go debt collecting mate ?? :lol: on commision of cause ;-)

because i am off to collect a race spec ae86 today from the other side of japan

then off out in the rx-7 late tonight

Bonus to see their website is still working then I guess. They were trading under the name mlc-trading too even when I was happily buying parts and actually receiving them.

Matty, I don’t suppose there is any chance you might be able to pop in and see them, if I email you the details, no rush whenever you’re free, I’d love you long time!!!
Think its the last glimmer of hope to ever seeing the parts!

i couldnt really speak to them in japanese for you in relation to the parts they are located on the outskirts of tokyo by the looks of it.

its quite late here ive just been out for sushi so will check the post in the morning.

i dont tihnk they would give me your car parts anyway :(

basically you no need to go to visit them

ask one of your japanese friend to call them
before that ,get the order detail information ready
and tell them the issue

i have encounter this before
then ask my japanese friend to call then only they ship it out
tell me misplaced the order

yes.. japanese speaking..
fluent japanese..

no not plan
it just like they dont bother much
if some japanese people call
they will sort it out asap

Don’t really expect them to give you the parts, just for you to show them the receipt and the email they sent confirming what’s been ordered March last year, along with the address the items are to be shipped to. If it’s out your way or you’re too busy its fair enough mate, a long shot anyway, just our last hope I guess.

then i think you need someone to pay a visit

i consider myself lucky since i request my japanese speaking friend to call
them.
