central locking + alarm

ok heres my problem. I have an alarm on my car, its a cat 1 job (but obviously not approved as my problem states). The central locking was never wired in.

So i think im gonna try sort it out. Heres my questions

Firstly- where is the central locking relay?

Secondly- if i get central locking in, will the lock/unlock button still work on the drivers door control panel. Will it now unlock both doors instead of just the passenger?

Thirdly- how hard can it be?

Thanks in advance, Charlie

Hi for the central locking to work you will need to buy a solonid for the drivers door as the original central locking works on the key movement. After it is fitted the switch for the passenger door should still only work the passenger door. The solonid that you fitted will move the locking mech on the drivers door and then do the passenger though the original wiring

Try taking it to an authorised dealer for that alarm, or at the very least ask them which wires are for opening and closeing the door lock motor. It could turn out tricky if the wiring's a pain and the new motor is awkward to fit in the door, or it could be pretty simple. :?
