catchtank or seperator?

After either a oil catch tank or new oil seperator but just need a bit of advice as to what is the best to go for.??

I guess that by installing a new shiney seperator that little black box thingy on the front of the engine can be removed correct.? If I install a catch tank does the standard oil sep stay where it is.??

Best place to get one from.???

have the best of both worlds, leave the standard oil seperator on and use a catch tank too

My previous catch tank was a blue 1L oil bottle that did the job admirably. Just not very bling
