Like you Mark, Ihave had two days on the hills with the LHD car. Have now replaced 35/42 turbo with a GT 30 billet. Car is a little better but the torque
and power has only moved about 500 rpm. I think it needs different cams to get the power lower down.
Got within one second of my own record set a few years back with my RHD norris car, so I think the LHD car will get there if I live long enough.
Had to be brootall today, dumping the clutch and giving it a blast of reves to get the turbo to boost up.
Any way, picked up a couple of glasses so not too dissapointed.
The PPG gearbox is an absolute dream to use, compared with the Quaiffe. And the braking seams to be more balanced sitting on the left.
Looking forward to Chivanor sprint in Sep, where there is a quarter mile start.
