hey guys....so I've had my RB quite some time, and have had no considerable issues with it. I have done the usual preventative maintainance on it, leads, plugs, oil and fuel filter, MAF. I was driving it yesterday accelerating through gears at a normal-faster pace shifting at or below 4000 rpm, then all of a sudden I heard what sounded to be a hissing sound and a muffled pop, which seemed to come from the front drivers side, underneath the car? The car lost all power and I coasted it to the side, when trying to start it, it turns over but is weak on the turns and wont start. I checked underneath the car for any oil or trans fluid leaks, and there is nothing. Curious as to if anyone here has had a similar problem, and the best way to troubleshoot it.

Boost pipe split?

Check a boost pipe hasn't blown off. Normally it will start in that situation but not drive very well. Have a general look around that nothing else has come loose.

That was my very first thought, as one had come off the Evolution, and it had similar issue, but would start. I have checked them and don't see any visual rips, but I am going to dive in today to see what I can find.

Checked the oil in the head, appears to be clean. There is some blow-by in the pipe, but since I have the stock top mount it was an easy check to see if pipes were on (unless I'm missing one) and they were all in good order.

Cap and Rotor are fine, plugs are fine, no oil in cylinders. Would a bad alternator cause this issue?

Also, if trans blew...would it have these symptoms? Again no fluid leakage, but I hear a thudding sound when car is turning.

There is a tiny bit of fluid seeping out of the trans.

When you turn the ignition on can you hear the fuel pump prime for a few seconds? (long shot, but I've had fuel pumps just die after turning off)
A missing trans wouldn't affect the engine starting in anyway, so a damaged/leaking one wouldn't. I think the only electrical connections are for the reversing light and a neutral switch.
A bad alternator might if it lead to a low battery level. Your alternator light should give you plenty of warning about that though.
Physically grab hoses and try to move them. When I had the dump valve hose blow off, it looked connected at first and I didn't spot it until I moved it by hand. Normally if you have a hose blow off under power it makes more of a bang and you head butt the windscreen.
If it's split, it could be where you can't see. Front mount hoses for example behind the bumper.

The little hose with a hook, on the backside of the plenum, is off, it seems to come from the bottom, can't fit my hand behind it tho to see where it connects to, does anyone have a backside view of this?

Also just noticed this guy, looks to be the obvious culprit, not entirely sure where she plugs to.

Can't be 100% sure but from the pic it looks like that is the gearbox breather hose which should be free to vent.

You are right, both of these hoses are vent hoses.
