Car holds back after 3000rpm

When I go over 3000rpm while driving, then the car holds back and vibrates. When I do this standing still, then the rpm goes to the limit. I've changed the airflow meter and have put the boost back to the oiginal level, but it still won't work. What could this be?

Spark plugs, leads, coil, ignition module, boost leak, knock sensor and so on.

could be alot of things causing it but most of them aint to exepnsive to start off with. Start with a fault code check and see if the ECU is picking up any errors. Go from there mate.
