Im looking for a cam to drop into my basically standard motor. I'm running 1 bar on the standard turbo and injectors. I have a FMIC, uprated fuel pump, and 3 inch exhaust. Do they make a cam that can be thrown right in without upgrading springs or re-shimming the valves? Thanks Guys.

If you had hit the search button you would have found HKS 264 about 75%+ of the Cam threads :lol:

Has anybody had a try at the Piper or Kent cams? They have been producing cams for turbo engines for years.

The standard springs should be ok as long as you don't go for very high lift cams. As for the re-shimming, you'll be lucky to get away with not changing anything.

ive got piper 278's they are very good cams and very torquey, especially from 3k up!

I have Kent cam's, No idea what they're like though because I've not run the engine yet lol.
