buying a pulsar

have had a massive amount of ford RS's in the past, and i really fancy a pulsar now, i still own a S1 escort RS turbo with a stupid amount of mods running new management ect, even though its around the 270-280bhp mark, i want somethink i can launch, even though my S1 track car is very quick once moving, it just has no traction off the line due to wheel spin.

so anyway, back to the point, im currently looking for a gti-r to buy, obviously i know the basics of what to look for, but being in the specialist side of RS Turbos, i no theres alot more to different cars then just rust and engine damage ect..

can anyone give me some advice as to what to look out for?
