You may have seen on Flatchat that Janet is asking on behalf of ADMC that you bring marshals to Boyndie if you can. MSA rules require a minimum of two per post, and we are a long way short of covering that requirement as some of the ‘usual faces’ are competing themselves that weekend as there is a single venue rally at Crail.
If you are not entering Boyndie, then Janet would be pleased to have you volunteer to marshal. I would urge you to think about that – as competitors we take a lot for granted sometimes, and occasionally we have to give something back.
If you are competing, is there someone in your group who could marshal, or is there someone you know who you could bring along? There is an MSA age restriction on this, in that anyone under 16 should not be placed in harm’s way…
ADMC look after their marshals very well – apart from refreshments during the day, they provide a karting experience for them on the Saturday evening and also the famous curry night. If you can help, please get in touch with Janet.
