There's quite a few people on here running more than that for a long time. It may not be perfectly safe but as long as you have the fueling spot on, front mount, fuel pump you should be okay
As Chris said, as long as the fueling is spot on and monitored with the correct mods (mapped, fuel pump, front mount, oil cooler, even water injection to keep temps low etc) then it should be ok, and can last for a long time as prooved on here. But if your worried then stay at 1bar which will always be safer.
Like I hope so soon, you can always get it mapped as high 1.2bar for the odd blast when someone's behind you, but when running "hard" only run a lower boost set at 1bar most of the time. The standard turbo life would also dramtically reduce at 1.2bar so that will go sooner or later.
