Hi took the R out, boost gauge is showing 7psi when cold, as the car warms up im not holding stock boost, it drops to 5psi, anyone have any ideas, i thought maybe dodgy actuator or somet, but how would i go about checkin the actuator if its faulty? :?

Wouldn't have thought the actuator would be affected by the temp?
Maybe it could be the ecu holding the boost back due to another problem i.e. a sensor problem (det sensor, lambda sensor etc). Are there any other symptoms?

Check you still have the restrictor in the pipe from the plenumn to the metal braket that bolts to the underside of the top mounted intercooler. You'll have low boost without this restirctor.
If your engine is suffering det, the ecu will retard the ignition timing and cut boost.
