Boost controller question

Am looking for a boost controller that will allow boost to come on nice and softly (gradually to look after transmission) and also be able to run say 1.2 bar at 4500 rpm but only .9bar at 7000rpm.
Can you understand what i'm going on about??
Would the apexi avcr allow this as i have a safc allready??

Basically say .9 bar at 4300rpm then 1.1 at 4400rpm then 1.2 at 4500rpm
so boost increase is gradual and easy on the gearbox..(also after hitting 1.2bar at 4500 rpm i'd want it to go back to around 1 bar for high rpm)

ive got an avcr, and as far as i can see, you cant alter how quickly the boost comes on, although, you can adjust how it boosts in different gears.
Think you may need an HKS, or greddy boost controller?

sorry, after reading your post again, the avcr can offer different boost levels at different revs(fook me, i'm pissed up)
