Ive brought a manual inline boost controller for my 90' gti-r and are having problems with the factory boost solenoid.

With the controller connected i can wind the controller right out expecting to gain an increase in boost, but the factory soliniod seems to govern it at 10psi.

When we tryed removing the solenoid from the car, but in result it defulted to 6psi.

How can we fix this problem and increase the boost?

I know this has proberly been covered many a times b4 but im new to this forum and are having trouble finding any links.

So any information for direction to a link/s would be much appreciated

Cheers

What sort of controller is it? Dawes device, bled valve etc?

With the Dawes you connect it inplace of the T piece by the wastegate actuator and block off the lines to the boost solenoid. I would assume a bleed valve would be similar.
6psi is possibly the ecu going into safe (det) mode? Did you adjust your manual controller back down so it wasn't running lots of boost?
