Bonnet vents, blocked or not?

Hey boys n girls!

I was wondering who runs with the bonnet vents blocked, and who doesn't. What are the pro's and con's because I don't think water is going to touch anything critical under those vents.

I'd like to read your advice as I'm thinking of unblocking them

sounds like some good feedback, I guess I'll just remove them for now, and since the car won't be out during winter it won't matter We got lots of snow + calcium + salt on the roads here and the car rust ALOT because of that ... so starting november, the car will be hidden somewhere in a garage until april

Had my vents open now nearly four years with out problems but it does go in the garage every night.

What are you guys talking about some sort of cover to block the small vents or the big rubber cover for the intercooler under the big one? mine has no covers on the small vents at all?

leave them out,

they are the covers for the small vents at the side of the main cooler,

yours were most likely removed then never replaced,

alot of gtirs suprisingly dont have these anymore,

i had mine out for 3yrs+ never had a problem, up until i sold it

Have them in all winter / rainy season - wish is all year round up here & then take them out when its nice & dry.
