Bonnet vent gasket

Hi

My main vent came back from the body shop without the gasket, he said it fell to bits when removed. Nissan dont have them and I dont know exactly what they look like to make a replacement.

Anybody have any suggestions?

I need one of these too, I've checked with Nissan myself and they are all out

They were available some years ago but i was put off buy the price £38+vat for that little strip of rubber.

i am going to try and fashion one from an old door rubber.

I thought of using a draught excluder strip or fire stop from B andQ but could only fined them in white or brown

I have made from tiger seal directly in the the gap where the vent sits. I going to see how it looks if its no good then I will peal it out.
