Bonet Lifters

Has anybody ever fitted gas bonnet lifters?

How hard were they to fit, they look very straightforward, which length did you use.

i was thinking aboutdoing that tony but never tryed to do it seen like alot of work involved in fitting the bonnet lifters getting them fitted and making sure they work and they where in the right position :-D :-D

i remember my mate fitted some to his gt4 which were meant for a golf, and i thought bout doing it as well as they only cost bout £20 in fact il ask him how difficult he thinks it will be and report back!

Id say one's for the R will have to big as its quite heavy?

Also been looking at this .

Was looking at my mates Mitsi GTO the other night and they came with them on as standard and they are not that big. The GTO bonnet is a feck load heavier than the R's so should easily do the job i recon. Just gonna look into how difficult they will be to fit over the next week or so ;-)
