Block work?

I'm nearly ready to start getting my engine out for a re-build and the 1st thing I'll be doing is sending the block off to be checked, acid dipped and re-honed.
I have done a quick search but haven't really found an answer to my question so:

How much am I looking at to get block inspected (bores checked etc), cleaned and re-honed ready for new pistons/re-build?
Can anyone recommend a good company?

Bryan Slark Engineering is not to far away from you, he has specalised in Mini's for years but he did my Pulsar Head, him and his son are very good engineers.
Tell him Phil from wales sent you.
