black smoke

after i drove the car, parked up at my mates house and the car wos idelling rough between 650-900rpm and there was a distinct black smoke coming from the mongoose :shock: :? sounded like it was misfiring aswell :shock:
on the way home i gave it a bit of a thrashing and it seemed to clear the prob.
could this be because i havent booted the car in a long time and there was a blockage? :?

I had the same prob a while back - plus it was spitting 'soot' out the goose also :?: the end of the exhaust was really black - and it got worse.
called the AA out as the car was sounding well rough & the guy couldn't suss it out??
after posting up on the forum & a chat with a few people i replaced the fuel pump & cleaned the maf sensor (it was wet) & the problem went - dont know which one sorted it but it went all the same thankfully.

i sorted it, basically the pipe from my oil catch tank came out of the induction pipe and when i put it back in the car was fine. :?
well its all sorted now
