Evening all,

I am selling my pulsar having bought it in Feb 2008 from a member off here.
It has just had an MOT but is currently SORN. I will put tax on the car if someone buys it.

I have only used the car for track days and getting to track days, other than that it doesn’t get used. Over the past year I have only managed to do 2 track days, the last one being in July. That is not enough use to justify continuing ownership for me.

I wanted a reliable fun car for track days and that is exactly what I got. I run the car at 1 bar of boost, which is more than enough to annoy E46 M3 owners around the track. I have had no problems with the engine through out my ownership. It hasn’t missed a beat on track. The engine oil is changed every couple of track days, with the brake fluid, gearbox and diff oil being changed regularly. The only problem I’ve had is with the gearbox. When I bought the car it was whining quite a bit, and after a year of track days it finally gave up. A trip to the gearbox man and its been great ever since.

It was my project to turn it into a track car, but I didn’t get all the way there. I have bought plenty of bits that are waiting to go on, but have not had the time to do it. I think this would be a good start for someone looking to turn a Gtir into track car. But if no one is up for a project, I will be breaking it.

The car has done 96908 miles.

Problems

The car sailed through its MOT, with just slight play in the near side track rod end. The rear arches are also showing signs of rust.


Im looking for around 3000 GBP, but I'm open to offers.
