BG44K - asking for trouble?

I know this is highly rated. Just always hear horror stories, ie. cleaning injectors unevenly, removing dirt from ringlands that was helping seal chamber, etc. etc.
Anyone any thoughts on using it?

Why do you need it; have you been putting sh!te fuel in your engine?

They bang on about their special amine forumla, but don't actually give any valid reason that you need nitrated hydrocarbons. Caustic soda does a great job of removing carbon deposits from my oven, but I'm not going to put that in my engine.

If you've got some, I don't think it will really do any harm. I'd run it through the system gently; it's not an octane booster, so all the improvements are supposed to be from the cleaning.

EDIT: MSDS - Composition "Petroleum distillates, hydotreated". Reads as "petrol, narrow-cut" to me.
