mine is always locked in the garage with two other cars in front of it. So if somebody wants it they have to move two cars with alarms then break into the garage, then the car! Hopefully then no t@ssers can get it!

Don't want to sink your boat but a cossie was stolen up here in Scotland, with 2 cars infront of the garage, both alarmed, garage proteced and the cossie was fully loaded with all the toys for an alarm system.

If they want it, they will get it.

as above really, if they really want your car the theiving bast@rds will get it, i think some sort of electric shock system should be introduced, in that if the car is not opened by the key then they get a few hundred volts through them

I read somewhere a while ago about a bloke that had his mint Mk1 escort pinched from his garage, He had two alarmed cars parked in front of the alarmed garage, Plus his car had no wheels and was chained down to the floor  ,

So the b@stards would of had to beat 3 alarm systems cut his chains and bring there own wheels   , So as mick said if they want it there get it  , There just nothing you can do other than sleep in the bl00dy thing, Even then there probably just shoot you  .

Geoff they probably would....that's the only problem, i take theft claims everyday for crappy little rover 25, fiat unos you name it lol. People even go to lengths of smashing the patio doors - breaking into the house for the keys, this happened and all it was for was a fiat panda

And it happened in speke lol. Then it again it is speke lol.

yeah I've even heard of people bringing ecu's with them encase you disconnect yours, in the end all you can do is make it as hard as possible and time consuming.

having a deep filled gravel drive and a narrow gate makes it a damn sight harder to push the car off the drive
