a lot of it is down to crash protection, the weight of front doors now is getting stupid.....

and have you noticed how cars are getting wider but there's more space between the seat and the door and the centre consoles are the same width?

Why isn't the Maestro turbo on that list 6.9s-60 and it wasn't overly light at about 1100ish kg
